I’m moving & don’t have the money for a trailer or parts. This is a deal & anyone w/ some money to spare should look at it.
I have one running sled & one that needs work. These sleds have been a pair since new. I am the third owner, the two owners before me were trail types, & I have one season on them, they’re great in the powder.
The Running Sled – The Bad; Front bumper needs to be replaced, LH Arm is silver, RH Arm is stock yellow, Speedo is broke. The GOOD; It sat for two weeks & fired up second pull. 144” Track 2” Lugs, Track is in really good shape – no missing lugs, great compression, 2” Bar Risers, Gold Finger left hand throttle, lights work, so does the grip & throttle heat. Showing 600 miles but considering the speedo the mileage is probably more like the other sled - a still relatively low 1,460 miles. I have two keys for this sled. Title in hand.
The Other Sled – The Bad; The Motor, best I can tell the thermostat stuck. It got hot warming up on the trailer coolant was coming from the coolant reservoir over flow tube only. Figured I needed to mack some pow to cool it off, to no avail. Engine just quit. Popped cowling & watched the coolant reservoir empty into the coolant jacket with nothing on the ground. Any ideas? Thermostat stuck then finally opened when it was too late? Anyways, popped the head & at the least it needs over-sized rings, for the pistons to be cleaned up & the cylinders honed. The Bad (continued); needs front bumper & hinges for cowling, LH Arm is silver and RH Arm is stock yellow – I know…….don’t ask. The Good; 144” Track 2” Lugs, Track is in really good shape – no missing lugs, great compression, 2” Bar Risers, Gold Finger left hand throttle, lights work, so does the grip and throttle heat. Depending on rather this sled needs pistons or not will determine if it needs $300 or $500 in parts including the bumpers, speedo and hinge to be up and running. OR – it can serve as a parts sled. Title in hand.
The Running Sled - Check the NADA guides screen shot $1,680 to $2,210. I’ll SACRIFICE and sell it for $1,400 cash – with purchase of other sled.
The Other Sled – Average NADA guide says $1,945 – I’ll take HALF PRICE at $975 cash – with purchase of other sled.
Please, no low ballers or flakes – I just don’t have the time for it and this is a great deal for the right guy.
